Blue Raster partnered with the Nature Conservancy’s Freshwater Community-Led Conservation Program to develop a series of StoryMaps that shed light on their work with Indigenous People and Local Communities (IPLC) around freshwater ecosystems, highlighting their efforts to propagate and enhance community-led conservation initiatives across Africa and Latin America.
Blue Raster is thrilled to be a member of the Esri ArcGIS Cloud Services Specialty. This specialty designates Blue Raster as an expert in deploying and managing ArcGIS in cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. The Cloud Specialty program is designed to help Esri connect customers with recognized Partners that can best provide ArcGIS cloud solutions. The Smithsonian engaged with Blue Raster to create a StoryMap that illustrates research and its impact in an engaging and conversational way that would connect with students. Utilizing ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS StoryMaps the Blue Raster team built the “Make Way for Whales” StoryMap that shows how shifting shipping lanes increased the safety of whales.
Trillion Trees is a joint venture between three of the world’s largest conservation organizations – BirdLife International, Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and WWF – to end deforestation and restore tree cover. The organization aims to protect and restore forests to achieve one trillion trees by 2050, for the benefit of people, nature, and a stable climate.
Built using ArcGIS Hub, ArcGIS Dashboards, and ArcGIS StoryMaps, the Draper Innovation Index US includes three major scenarios: Balanced, Tech Innovation Environment and Regulatory and Tax Environment. These scenarios weight six sub-indices, providing a look at state performance in a variety of categories.
