Mekong Monitor – Providing Vital Insight for River-dependent Communities

Blue Raster developed the Mekong Dam Monitor to provide unprecedented transparency of the flow of water and conditions of dams and reservoirs along the Mekong River. Using satellite data as well as weather and water gauge data, the monitor provides visibility into what is happening upstream, giving a comprehensive near-real time view of the current state of the Mekong basin along with historic conditions. Field Report: Supporting TRACE in Eswatini, Rwanda, and Ethiopia

Blue Raster and ICAP are working on the TRACE initiative (Tracking with Recency Assays to Control the Epidemic), establishing HIV recent infection surveillance systems in routine HIV services to detect, characterize, monitor, and intervene on recent infection among newly diagnosed people living with HIV (PLHIV). We are supporting in-country implementation of Power BI and ArcGIS to provide real-time data about recent infections and to deliver this data quickly to decision makers.  Read More
