Mr. Ansari has more than 17 years of experience in GIS and web application development that provides the foundation for managing and delivering business mapping solutions and customized web applications for clients. A founding partner of Blue Raster, he brings leadership, vision and practical experience to every aspect of customer solutions. He has provided web-based and GIS solutions to clients including World Resources Institute, U.S. Department of Education, Environmental Protection Agency, Smithsonian, World Bank, and USAID. He earned a B.S. in Earth Science from Penn State, where he gained formal geographic-systems training and technical writing skills. Before Mr. Ansari pursued his interest in the earth sciences, he was an avid programmer. He began programming at an early age and has productively combined his appreciation for the scientific method and his interest in exploring the latest computer technologies.
